President's Message

Dear " . $Name .",

Greetings!

Although we've only enjoyed 2013 for less than two months, it seems that Project Mañana has accomplished a year's worth of progress -- and, it's all thanks to our faithful supporters. (Yes, that's you!)

In this addition of our newsletter, you will read about two new initiatives that Project Mañana is VERY excited to announce. Partnership with these projects has come after much discussion, planning, and prayer. And, they are a natural expansion of Project Mañana's mission to "Work Together Today for a Better Tomorrow!

I am so encouraged to see how God has allowed Project Mañana to reach (and bless) so many needy children and their families in the Dominican Republic.

On behalf of 225 (and growing!) Project Mañana children, their families, and community, THANK YOU for "Working Together Today for a Better Tomorrow!™"

Please visit Project Mañana's website for more information on how you can partner with Project Mañana; including child sponsorship.

Working Together Today For A Better Tomorrow™

Sincerely,

Brian Berman, Founder & President

Project Mañana Expands to a Second Location

After months of careful consideration, planning, and prayer, Project Mañana is VERY excited to announce that we are expanding our services to a second location in the Dominican Republic!

Located on the outskirts of town, Project Mañana has begun work in a refugee community known as Villa Gonzales.

Through a partnership with Villa Gonzales' local pastor, Jose Rodriquez, Project Mañana is building its first relationships with the children, their family, and community by helping to provide a nutritious meal to more than 70+ impoverished children, 5 days per week.

Through his own resources and limited partnerships, Pastor Rodriquez had established the feeding program in Villa Gonzales (where he calls home) several years ago. However, as time went on, funding and resources have become scarce. Thankfully at the end of 2012, Project Mañana was able to form a partnership with Pastor Jose Rodriquez to bless this community.

Project Mañana's team has been spending a lot of time with Pastor Rodriquez and is currently working to collect photos and biographies of the children. Once available (in the coming weeks), Project Mañana will post each child's information to our Online Sponsorship System, where they will be available for sponsorship.

We are very excited for this new partnership and the opportunity to help create international relationships to bless and benefit the children of Villa Gonzales.

Project Mañana Goes to Prison: Now You Can Sponsor An Inmate

After several visits to one of Santiago's largest prison facilities as a guest speaker, Brian Berman (Project Mañana's founder) realized that inmates were crying out for help and encouragement.

Today, Project Mañana is excited to announce that we have created and official "project" and are now offering the opportunity for people to sponsor an inmate.

Through a partnership with a team of local Dominican pastors, Project Mañana is helping to provide an intensive bible-based workshop to inmates. (Click Here to View Photos)

The workshop uses the acclaimed video series Men's Fraternity™: Quest for Authentic Manhood as its basis and seeks to share God's love with each inmate.

Authentic Manhood is a bold movement that leads men to live a life of truth, passion and purpose.

Sponsor An Inmate

For a one-time sponsorship of $10, you can partner with Project Mañana and sponsor an inmate to attend this intense workshop.

Sponsorship provides an inmate with:
  • Workbook - Men's Fraternity™: Quest for Authentic Manhood by Dr. Robert Lewis.
  • Classroom Supplies - All supplies needed for the workshop.
  • Diploma - This is often the first (and only) award the inmate will receive in his life.
  • Graduation Party - A celebration (with cake) of the workshop completion.

Project Mañana Growth Update

From September 30, 2010 (when Project Mañana officially open its doors) to September 30, 2012, Project Mañana has seen an amazing 562% growth in its core programs.

Project Mañana, through the generous partnership of many sponsors across the United States, is now providing education, nutritious meals 5-days per week, and guidance to 225 children in the Dominican Republic! That's an astounding 562% growth in the first two years of service!

The growth is a true testament to the hard work of the Dominican-based Project Mañana team and the many sponsors who have made it their mission to help provide a Better Tomorrow for the children of La Yaguita de Pastor, Dominican Republic!

There are MANY more children in the community (we estimate another 200-300 conservatively) who desperately need education and nutrition. As more and more sponsors join the Project Mañana team, we will expand the programs to as many children as we can.

 Project Mañana Needs Your Help!

Project Mañana is a non-profit 501(c)3 humanitarian organization dedicated to bettering the lives of impoverished children, their families and communities through nutrition, education, and guidance.

We achieve our goals through charitable donations and child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors who wish to address the children's immediate and basic needs. Sponsorship gives poor children the tools and opportunities necessary for success by providing benefits and supporting programs for each child - primarily in the areas of education and nutrition.
