President's Message |
"
. $Name .",
HAPPY EASTER! April has been an amazing month for Project Mañana and I would personally like to thank everyone who have so generously opened their heart to the child of La Yaguita de Pastor, Dominican Republic.
Because of your partnership and support, Project Mañana is honored to offer more than 70+ children a private education and nutritious meal, 5 days per week.
In addition, Project Mañana is working hard to develop after-school programs such as baseball, art class (currently available), and intensive English (additional to the English class being taught during the regular school day).
This month was also very special, because Project Mañana published its very first promotional video -- giving viewers a window into how their support and partnership are blessing the children.
Please visit the Project Mañana website for more information.
Working Together Today For A Better Tomorrow™
Sincerely,
Brian Berman, Founder & President

Florida-Based Law Firm Sponsors Internet Access At School |
From the moment Frank Herrera, attorney and co-founder of H New Media, stepped into Project Mañana's Private School, he was taken back -- and wanted to make a difference.
In Herrera's blog he writes, "H New Media has donated one year of high-speed Internet access to [Project Mañana's] school in Santiago, Dominican Republic. In addition to sponsoring a child through www.projectmanana.org we have covered the costs for high speed Internet access for this small school. While the school needs lots of resources we believe that fast Internet access is crucial to today’s education."
Project Mañana is working with Juan D'Leon, the school's administrator, to turn a room currently used for storage into a secure computer lab for the students. In addition to H New Media's generous donation of Internet access, Project Mañana has received seven laptop computer; which have all been upgraded with the latest software.
To get the computer lab running, Project Mañana's Private School is still in need of doors, desks, and chairs for the room -- and we are currently trying to raise money for this project as fast as possible.
If you would like to help get the computer lab open, please consider making a donation. |
Project Niños - Child Highlight |
Meet Yeraylyn Methiel Polanco Martinez -- a precious preschool student attending preschool at Project Mañana's Private School.
Yeraylyn, like many of the children from La Yaguita de Pastor, Dominican Republic has spent her whole life in poverty. Her favorite food is rice and she loves to play. From her radiant smile, you would hardly imagine that sometimes she must rely on the memory of how rice tastes as she goes to bed with an empty stomach and without the necessary nutrients for her developing body. Her small, run-down home is over-crowded with her family and, as one of the youngest children, she is often overlooked.
There is good news! Yeraylyn is enrolled at Project Mañana's Private School, where she is guaranteed a private education and a nutritious meal, 5 days per week.
Additionally, Yeraylyn has been partnered-up with an adult mentor to help guide her through everyday situations, questions, hopes, dreams, and fears.
Yeraylyn is in desperate need of a sponsor and she would love it to be YOU!
Please visit Project Mañana's website to read more about Yeraylyn and the other children in desperate need of sponsorship. You can easily sponsor a child online, by fax, or by mail.

Project Mañana Needs Your Help! |
Project Mañana is a non-profit 501(c)3 humanitarian organization dedicated to bettering the lives of impoverished children, their families and communities through nutrition, education, and guidance.
We achieve our goals through charitable donations and child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors who wish to address the children's immediate and basic needs. Sponsorship gives poor children the tools and opportunities necessary for success by providing benefits and supporting programs for each child - primarily in the areas of education and nutrition.
