President's Message |
Dear "
. $Name .",
Greetings!
October has been an amazing month for Project Mañana!
After two years of service, we were able to host our first mission trip in the Dominican Republic with a team of people that represenated three states!
Reaching this milestone is HUGE for Project Mañana as it helps to show sponsors first-hand how their partnership is blessing the lives of many needy children in the Dominican Republic.
At the conclusion of the week-long trip, it is safe to say that not only were the lives of the Dominican children changed, but each an every American who was on the mission team!
On behalf of 115 (and growing!) Project Mañana children, their families, and community, THANK YOU for "Working Together Today for a Better Tomorrow!™"
Please visit Project Mañana's website for more information on how you can partner with Project Mañana; including child sponsorship.
Working Together Today For A Better Tomorrow™ Sincerely,
Brian Berman, Founder & President

Project Mañana Welcomes Inaugural Mission Trip Team |
On October 17th, in the midst of a torrential rain storm, flight 749 landed safely in the Dominican Republic as a crowd gathered in the Santiago airport clapped. On that plane was Project Mañana’s very first mission team!
Lead by Dan & Kristin McSwain, the team consisted of adults and high school students representing three states - California, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. (View Photos)
The week-long trip seemed to fly by as the team traveled throughout the island serving the Dominican people. The main focus was working with the children at Project Mañana’s private school in La Yaguita de Pastor. The team told stories, sang songs, did crafts, and just showed love to the children as they played together.
More than 225 children were blessed by the team during their trip!
The team also had the opportunity to visit some historic locations in Santiago; where they learned about the liberation from dictatorship (read more), shopped at a local bazaar, and spent a day at the beach reflecting on the week's activities.
Project Mañana would like to thank the following people who were on the team:

Project Mañana Sponsors Meet Thier Dominican Children |
During the recent mission trip, Project Manana sponsors had the opportunity to meet the children (and their familes) they sponsor!
Laughter, tears, and song filled the room as the Americans and Dominicans celebrated their international relationship. Sponsors gave thier children cards, small gifts, and clothes.

Project Mañana Growth Update |
From September 30, 2010 (when Project Mañana officially open its doors) to September 30, 2012, Project Mañana has seen an amazing 562% growth in its core programs.
Project Mañana, through the generous partnership of many sponsors across the United States, is now providing education,
nutritious meals 5-days per week, and guidance to 225 children in the Dominican Republic! That's an astounding 562% growth in the first two years of service!
The growth is a true
testament to the hard work of the Dominican-based Project Mañana team and the many sponsors who have made it their mission to help provide a Better Tomorrow for the children of La Yaguita de Pastor, Dominican Republic!
There are MANY more children in the community (we estimate another 200-300 conservatively) who desperately need education and nutrition. As more and more sponsors join the Project
Mañana team, we will expand the programs to as many children as we can.
Please Help. Sponsor A Child TODAY!

Project Mañana Needs Your Help! |
Project Mañana is a non-profit 501(c)3 humanitarian organization dedicated to bettering the lives of impoverished children, their families and communities through nutrition, education, and guidance.
We achieve our goals through charitable donations and child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors who wish to address the children's immediate and basic needs. Sponsorship gives poor children the tools and opportunities necessary for success by providing benefits and supporting programs for each child - primarily in the areas of education and nutrition.
